Artralgin Dexa 100ml

Artralgin Dexa is the combination of dexamethasone and phenylbutazone gives the product very good analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Phenylbutazone is a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent with antirheumatic, analgesic, and antipyretic effects. Like other pyrazole derivatives, phenylbutazone acts on the early stages of anti-inflammatory responses by interfering with the vascular response.

Dexamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. Its activity is observed in the late phase of the inflammatory response, and it acts on the connective tissue, blocking the proliferation of fibroblasts and the formation of collagen. The combination of phenylbutazone and dexamethasone, which maintains the body’s tolerance to each component, provides synergy of specific anti-inflammatory effects. Indications: Treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system. As an aid in the treatment of infectious arthritis. Treatment of inflammatory processes associated with osteopathy, neuropathy and to reduce pain symptoms.

Composition

In 100ml: phenylbutazone 20g; dexamethasone 150 mg; Excipients.

Recommendations for use

Intravenously at the rate of 2 ml per 100 kg of horse weight daily for 5 days, then as directed by a veterinarian.
