Rohypnol is the common and brand name for Flunitrazepam, a benzodiazepine sometimes used in the treatment of sleep disorders.
Rohypnol (flunitrazepam) is used in the short-term treatment of insomnia and as a premedication for surgery. A central nervous system (CNS) depressant that belongs to a class of drugs known as benzodiazepines.

How is Rohypnol taken?Swallowed: tablets are swallowed, in ‘spiking’ they are crushed and added to drink, usually alcohol.
